Moisturising makeup is a must. Flaking skin on the face is tricky to apply makeup over and all care must be taken. Press rather than rub in serum and moisturiser (to cause less friction) and opt for moisturizing tints and BB creams rather than heavily pigmented foundation which can clump around the dry skin.
